Message	drag radials. A compromise might be the 245/50/16 Nitto drag radials. They will provide plenty of additional traction, only be about 3/4" bigger in diameter (vs. the stock 245/45/16s), and will last about 15,000 miles longer than the BFGs. You will compromise the handling some due to the taller sidewall and additional flex, but I have found it to be a good all around tire if you are looking for increased traction with a street tire. Despite some opinions to the contrary, I've never had a problem with then in the rain. Take care, Mark
